A national science museum that connects people with cutting-edge science and technology. In the museum's symbol zone, "Geo-Cosmos", a world’s first sphere projecting a realistic vision of Earth, floats overhead. The museum is also home to various other facilities, including Miraikan hall, which features simultaneous interpreting facilities, and a pillarless exhibition zone with a floor space of approximately 1,500㎡. The museum can be used for international conferences, presentations, parties, and various other MICE events.
